From Salt Lake City
Route: I-84 West through northern Utah into Idaho Distance: ~220 miles Drive Time: About 3.5 hours
Take I-84 West from SLC through Ogden and into Idaho. You'll pass through Burley before reaching Twin Falls. Straightforward interstate driving.
From Sun Valley
Route: ID-75 South to US-93 South to I-84 Distance: ~85 miles Drive Time: About 1.5 hours
A beautiful drive through the Wood River Valley, past lava fields, and into the Magic Valley. This route passes near Shoshone, where you can stop at the ice caves if you have time.
Flying In
Magic Valley Regional Airport (TWF) is right in Twin Falls with connecting flights through Salt Lake City and Denver. It's small and easy — no long security lines.
Boise Airport (BOI) is the larger option with more flight choices. Rent a car and enjoy the 2-hour drive east on I-84.
Arrival Tips
- Gas up in Twin Falls before heading to rural areas
